FAQ
Bring a CryptoKitty to Robinhood, play the school, sell in the Pit. English first.
Path
- 1. Guest. Spar the mouse with no wallet. Learn one fight on the house kitten. Spar the mouse
- 2. Wrap. Wrap a CryptoKitty into a Crypto Cat on Robinhood. Same ID; the original stays in Ethereum custody. That wrap is the mint. Every wrap costs ETH. The first from this wallet is the lower rate. Wrap is invite-only while we open slowly. Bring a CryptoKitty
- 3. Fight. Hunt, rest, and train. The game is what you do with the pupil once it is on Robinhood. Open the map
- 4. Pit. List a Crypto Cat at a fixed ETH ask. Sell on Robinhood without sending the original back to Ethereum. Open the Pit
Terms
- Independent. CKArena is not Dapper Labs, and this is not an official CryptoKitties app. CryptoKitties is a trademark of its owner.
- Lanista. Old word for trainer. That's you. Pupils fight; you do not. Their $CLAW is yours to spend or waste.
- Guest. The house kitten stays on the roster, with or without a wallet. It only spars the Yard and stops at level 4. Fight pay is saved to the connected wallet on this browser. Spending it on-chain comes later.
- Profile. Your rank, rest, and CLAW. Cats is the roster. Wrap is where CryptoKitties become Crypto Cats.
- Wrap. Time they grew up, moved out of the house, and got a job. Wrap a CryptoKitty into a Crypto Cat on Robinhood. Same ID. The original stays in Ethereum custody as the deed. The pupil is the cat you keep: fights, locker, Pit. That wrap is the mint. The current invite period has a 0 ETH wrap fee; normal network gas still applies. The desk reads the live contract fee and shows the exact amount before you sign. Wrap is invite-only while we open slowly; guest spar and Pit stay open.
- Cats. Roster of your Crypto Cats. Open a locker for stats and kit. Bulk pit list is optional under the grid.
- Fight. Fights, buys, and levels stay off-chain until rest. One transaction at rest writes the whole outing.
- Rest. Writes this outing on-chain and lands queued levels. Heals 65% of max HP, not a full bar. Leftover energy stays until tomorrow or catnip.
- Pit. After you bring a CryptoKitty to Robinhood, the Pit is the easy sale: a fixed ETH ask, still on Robinhood. Listed pupils cannot hunt, rest, or train until you pull them or a buyer takes them. Kit, tonics, and trophies stay on the ID. 5% to the school. Finish an open outing first.
- Leaderboard. Weekly boards. Most wins, most hunts, most $CLAW from fights. Resets Monday UTC. Idle yield does not count. A name is vanity; unnamed pupils still rank as their ID.
- Pupil name. Pay a small ETH fee to the bank to name this pupil. Unique. It sticks to the ID if they change trainer. The leaderboard prints it instead of the number.
- Trainer name. Pay a larger ETH fee to the bank to register your trainer name. Unique. The weekly leaderboard prints it next to the pupils you train.
- $CLAW. Pupils earn $CLAW by fighting. A harder foe pays more; a mouse pays nothing once this pupil has outgrown it. The training stake sits in the locker and earns idle yield. Earned CLAW is fight pay, harvested yield, and the starter purse for catnip. Cash out earned CLAW without touching the stake. Cashing out the stake lowers idle yield. Tonics, skins, and trophies stay on the pupil.
- Locker. Kit on the pupil. Purse for the lanista. Tonics, skins, and trophies stay on the ID if you cash out.
- Phone. On iPhone, open Share then Add to Home Screen. CKArena opens like an app. Bottom tabs are Wrap, Fight, Pit, Cats, and Profile.
- HP. HP does not refill after a fight. A downed pupil must rest. Rest heals 65% of max HP, not the whole bar.
- Energy. Five fights a UTC day. Rest does not refill energy. Catnip adds 5 (cap 15).
- Levels. A win trains this pupil only if the foe is close. Mice stop teaching long before the top league. Queued stats do not fight until you rest. Each level gives one point. Place every point before rest. Rest will not start with leftovers.
Stats
- HP
- Max health. Genes set the floor; HP points add on top. Wounds stay until rest.
- ATK
- How hard strikes and claws hit. Compared against the foe’s DEF. A sidearm adds +1 ATK and +1 hit damage, still capped at 28.
- DEF
- How much incoming damage you shrug. Compared against the foe’s ATK.
- SPE
- Who moves first. Close SPE is a coin flip.
Rest heals 65% of max HP. The same lines sit on ? marks around the school. Dismiss a tip and it stays gone.
